Langley’s test laboratory is equipped with two Siemens XRF spectrometers which are used to control the melting process. LECO analysers are available to determine C,S,N and O concentrations. Mechanical testing is carried out using two DMG tensile test machines. Izod impact testing and hardness testing are also available as well as magnetic permeability testing and standard metallographic examination. |
