F55 Super Duplex from Langley Alloys is NORSOK approved and has a minimum pitting resistance equivalent number of 40. Having enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared with the ordinary austenitic or duplex types F55 Super Duplex is suitable for a variety of applications in industries such as Chemical Processing, Oil & Gas, and Marine environments. F55 Super Duplex is currently used for chemical tanks, refineries, marine shafts, pressure vessel parts, paper manufacture, seawater desalination plants and many other applications. F55 Super Duplex is listed in NACE MR 01 75 for sour service and having gained ASME Approval for Pressure Vessel applications. |
